Yoko Noge is a Japanese jazzwoman who took the Chicago Lindy Hop scene by storm
a few years ago when she started playing her "Jazz me Blues" at the
Hothouse every Monday night. Her band has played at several Lindy Hop
Exchanges, and has always been a hit with the more musically-inclined
dancers. The rhythm is light and upbeat, but still very well grounded in
the Jazz tradition. Yoko's partner in crime, John Watson, sings many of
the tunes in addition to adding his flair on the trombone.
